My favorite part of the day is hanging out with you in the morning and taking you to school. You are so funny in the morning.  "Daddy luke at me!"

Fall 2015

Bringing things up to speed here. Picture day at school - I can't believe you are not even 2.5 yrs old yet and look so old in this picture! What a sweet smile :)

I took a couple days off around Columbus Day to spend some time with you. We had so much fun going to the Nature Center in Rocky River - You're such a good little hiker!

You said your tummy hurt after dinner. Probably too much of my famous chutney meatballs and cous cous.

Shortly after you went to bed you threw up in yourself and were very upset. Made mommy and me cry how upset you were and to see you hurting.

I just left your room after about 10 minutes making sure you were breathing. All seems well for now. Night night sleep tight love you.

Summer '16 Recap!

Can't believe how fast this summer has gone - We did so much and have a lot of pictures to prove it! We always have such a good time on the 4th. You love your parades especially when there is candy! 

We took you to our favorite place in the world - Silver Lake, Michigan.  It's a little town with tons of fun things to do, especially the DUNES. Here are a bunch of pictures from our trip:

Back to School! I love our mornings together after Mom goes to school early and I take you to school.

In September, I did an olympic distance triathlon in Portage Lakes (Akron). It is a mile swim, 25 mile bike, 6.2 mile run. It took me 2:28:00 and I finished 8th overall and 3rd in my age group (30-34).

2nd Birthday!

I can't believe you're already 2!
We just got back from Williamsburg and your Mom and I are both very sick with the flu.  I was sick for my birthday and we were both sick on your birthday. Luckily you seem fine.

It was definitely a Frozen birthday - After a long party with friends and family it was time for a break in your new fold up chair.

'15 Summer Trip to Williamsburg

Since last year's trip to Panama City Beach was so fun, we decided to start each summer with a trip.  This year we went to Williamsburg Virginia and drove with Gigi.  First we stopped in Washington, DC near the Pentagon and visited Arlington Cemetary.  Then we headed to Williamsburg.

I competed in a 70.3 (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run) but did not do the run portion as I had over an hour in delays from bike issues. Luckily our hotel had an awesome pool because it was about 100 degrees every day.

GiGi's 60th Birthday!

GiGi turned 60 and we had a big party at our house! This was the latest you stayed up in awhile and some of your cousins put you to bed and read to you. Caroline, Mia, and Macy took turns reading to you.
